The film features:

  1. Officers from EAA member organizations explaining the importance of the EAA
  2. Personal insights on why anglers should visit EAA representatives’ countries to fish.
  3. EAA representatives preferred types of fishing and angling, and
  4. The biggest challenges faced by EAA and its members organizations for the coming period.

To conclude the video, former EAA President Fred Bloot (NL) outlined his main challenges during his 11 years’ presidency. Additionally, new EAA President Mark Owen (UK) clarified which files and policies will be of importance for the organisation under his presidency, including the further implementation of the Water Framework Directive and the Control Regulation.

With this video, EAA wishes to present themselves and to underline it remains committed to achieving full and fair recognition of the recreational fisheries sector in EU legislation.
